About the role
- Build and sustain deep customer intimacy with the DoD customer and other government agencies
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s budget landscape, long-term investment priorities, and acquisition strategies
- Guide and support RTX and Raytheon teams in solving complex customer challenges
- Serve as the escalation point for customer-facing issues and lead efforts to deliver exceptional customer service experiences
- Drive disciplined Business Development processes across the team, leading or supporting gates, milestone reviews and color team reviews
- Oversee development of customer briefings, capture strategies, proposals, and related artifacts
- Collect and analyze customer interaction data and engagement trends to forecast needs and shape strategic pursuits
- Collaborate across RTX businesses, Raytheon business units and functional areas to align internal priorities with customer expectations
- Ensure timely, transparent communication with DoD and government agencies across engagements, RFIs, and solicitations
- Track and coordinate internal engagement with the customer, develop agendas, talking points, and background materials for executive-level visits
- Champion continuous improvement across the R&C function, leveraging metrics and feedback loops
- Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations on advocacy and development of new technologies and solutions
