About the role
- Accountable for implementation and continuous improvement of RTX CORE across Enterprise Services, including goal alignment and CORE Embedded Lead network
- Develop enterprise strategy to mature the CORE operating systems with alignment from all Enterprise Services Domains
- Lead the Enterprise CORE Team to facilitate events/activities to deliver value to internal customers
- Partner with RTX on CORE strategy and execution and represent Enterprise Services on the RTX CORE Council
- Execute implementation of the CORE Operating System across Enterprise Services domains and functions
- Partner with domains and functions to improve execution and drive business results
- Lead the Enterprise Services CORE Council to manage flow down to domains, best practice sharing, strategy alignment and tracking
- Facilitate senior leadership level Goal Alignment and cadence review events
- Partner with HR to enhance talent strategy and development for CORE Embedded Lead role across Enterprise Services
- Support overall ES Operating Model work through usage of CORE tools
- Travel up to 40% (international and domestic) as required
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future; the company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position
- U.S.-based role; successful candidate must work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories)
- Experience leading and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
- Prior successful experience improving entire systems and processes
- Applied experience of CORE, SPS, Lean, 6Sigma, Agile or other continuous improvement practices
- Experience leading a cross functional & multi-site team and work with team members of varying backgrounds
- Presentation experience delivering information to senior executive leadership
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time (international and domestic)
- CORE Expert, Black Belt, PMP/PMX or other equivalent certification (preferred)
- Project Management experience (preferred)
- Proven ability to communicate with senior executive leadership on matters of strategic importance to the organization (preferred)
- Highly honed communication skills with a track record of influencing change (preferred)
- Advanced business knowledge with demonstrated leadership capability with results (preferred)
- Experience leading, training and coaching continuous improvement methods & tools (preferred)
