About the role
- Review of SOW’s (Statements of Work).
- Create Non-Disclosure Agreements and/or Proprietary Information agreements.
- Obtain proposal/quotation activities.
- Select qualified suppliers and perform due diligence.
- Negotiate with suppliers on price, schedules and terms & conditions.
- Post-award management and delivery assurance.
- Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with business and program.
- Coordinate with commodity leads/managers and external suppliers to manage requirements and resolve issues.
- Manage procurement from sourcing through payment to support business units and corporate entities.
- Use written work instructions (available in English) for daily job activities.
- Manage multiple priorities, facilitate cross-functional discussions, and develop relationships with the supply base.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in purchase order management including documentation.
- 1+ years of experience in supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with the use of SAP procurement software.
- Experience with Government contracts, processes and procedures (preferred).
- Negotiation skills (internal and external with suppliers) (preferred).
- Experience with automation tools (preferred).
- Leadership skills – influence, presence, ability to interface internally and with suppliers (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the integrated supply chain, including strategic procurement (preferred).
- Ability to effectively interface with senior management on major matters (preferred).
- Ability to develop peer relationships with senior executives, cross functional teams, customers, and program managers (preferred).
- Work instructions are available in English only.
- Eligible candidates must reside near Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico.
