About the role
- Manage medium and high complexity external procurements for non-production goods and services
- Procure non-production goods and services in support of RTX’s business units and Corporate functions
- Supplier negotiations (price, schedules, terms & conditions)
- Well-versed in supply chain compliance including FAR, DFARS, Raytheon T&C, export/import
- Review Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Create PIA/NDA’s
- Obtain proposals/quotations and perform documentation write-up and compliance packages
- Select qualified suppliers and perform due diligence and best value/cost price analysis
- Post-award management and supplier interaction to support program milestones
- Engage with Business EXIM, Legal, & Sr. Leaders
- Use SAP PRISM purchasing tool and PRISM/APEX for procurement, manage purchase orders
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years minimum experience or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR
- Experience negotiating terms and conditions
- Proficiency with SAP procurement software tools such as PRISM and APEX
- Purchase Order management experience
- Supplier negotiations experience (price, schedules, terms & conditions)
- Price analysis, source selection/justification
- Experience with export/import requirements
- Experience in supplier management and post-award management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to interface with senior management and cross-functional teams
- Time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
