Manage the creation of new, and revision of existing, technical data deliverables for commercial and military aircraft programs (ECAD, MCAD, CMMs/CMPs, SBs, AMMs, provisioning data).
Interact with key internal and external stakeholders as part of cross-functional project teams (program management, engineering, quality, supplier management, MRO, legal, contracts, Global Trade, OEMs, aircraft operators).
Participate in contract reviews to ensure program and project requirements are met including delivery milestones, budget, industry standards, military specifications, and customer requirements.
Create project plans in support of program proposals and cost estimates and use plans to manage project details including cost account management and identification of risks and opportunities.
Provide technical guidance through review and analysis of engineering documentation and its impact to the deliverable.
Drive delivery performance and quality from internal resources and suppliers and provide regular status updates to internal and external customers.
Lead and participate in continuous process improvement projects.
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment; relocation is not offered.
Project management experience, including risk analysis, scheduling, and earned value management.
Experience with technical data deliverables for commercial and military aircraft (ECAD, MCAD, CMMs/CMPs, SBs, AMMs, provisioning data).
Experience interacting with cross-functional stakeholders (program management, engineering, quality, supplier management, MRO, legal, contracts, Global Trade, OEMs, aircraft operators).
Ability to create project plans, manage cost accounts, identify risks and opportunities.
Technical aptitude to review and analyze engineering documentation and its impact on deliverables.
Experience driving delivery performance and quality from internal resources and suppliers.
Experience with continuous improvement principles (CORE apprentice or Six Sigma experience preferred).
Understanding of aerospace industry standards and military specifications.
Direct experience with Collins Aerospace products and aftermarket/customer service is preferred.
