About the role
- Review defects and failures, conducting trend analysis and impact assessments
- Present to internal and external stakeholders at program meetings and Failure Review Boards (FRB)
- Lead failure investigations to root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
- Support the proposal process in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for FRACAS work
- Track Earned Value (EV) and provide accurate status on the schedule and budget for the FRACAS scope
- Approximately 15% domestic and international travel may be required
- Work as part of Life Cycle Engineering to ensure products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with reliability analysis, failure investigations, and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret
- Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
- Experience with FRACAS Engineering Concepts including knowledge of reliability and maintainability (preferred)
- Experience presenting to Failure Review Boards (FRB) (preferred)
- Experience with Defense manufacturing OR work on Autonomous programs/systems (preferred)
- Active Secret Clearance (preferred)
