Support the C-130 Hercules Platform Systems team and participate in avionics engineering tasks associated with the design, development, integration, and test of platform and software applications
Learn and effectively use requirements capture, peer review, configuration management, and AGILE development tools
On-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and Ad-Hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility necessary during formal test phases)
Support requirements capture and assist in decomposing customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system requirements
Support cross-functional team development including customer stakeholders and domain engineers
Work as part of an Agile team within Collins Aerospace's Military Avionics engineering organization
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment; relocation is not offered
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Basic experience with DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, and ALM tool suite
Basic experience working within an aerospace related engineering development environment
Basic experience or knowledge of engineering/technology requirements capture and configuration management tools
Basic experience or an educational background covering requirements capture & definition, integration, verification & validation testing
Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Robot and Jenkins
