About the role

Create and execute test plans during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the product
Contribute to the design, creation, and enhancement of the test framework, including developing modules to enable more effective validation techniques
Find issues and triage/debug them with team members in the software organization
Identify, report, and handle defects in a defect tracking system
Present results to product owners and internal customers to assist in resolving defects
Analyze test result data to identify patterns, extract insights, and support conclusions that improve product quality
Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve real-world challenges and contribute to product development

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
Knowledge of embedded systems and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as (Python/shell, C, C++)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Understanding of MCU and DSP cores/processors (preferred)
Understanding of software testing and test automation principles (preferred)
Familiar with defect management practices (preferred)
Familiar with SDLC (preferred)
Familiar with Jira, svn/git, and Continuous Integration systems (e.g., Jenkins) (preferred)
Must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed or willing to relocate prior to beginning the internship
