About the role

Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for a cutting-edge Navy Destroyer Platform
Be part of a successful team creating high-performance applications and be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle
Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
Functional analysis of real world and test data
Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
Participate in modern DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques and software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
At least 2 years of relevant software engineering experience
Experience developing software using C++
Active and transferrable final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with C++ Unit Test Frameworks (preferred)
Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology (preferred)
Experience with Atlassian, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes (preferred)
Experience with tools such as Confluence, VS Code, Jira, Jenkins, and Junit (preferred)
Experience in system design, development, integration/verification, production, and sustainment (preferred)
Familiarity with DOORS, and MS Office (preferred)
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
Self-motivated
Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
