About the role
- Work closely with the Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) team and gain valuable insights into other supply chain functions at Raytheon
- Issue request for quote (RFQ) to suppliers and follow up as required
- Analyze quotes upon receipt to ensure compliance to government regulations, public law, and Raytheon policies/procedures
- Compile and analyze supplier cost and pricing data and other available data to perform comprehensive price analyses
- Ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with organizational objectives
- Perform independent assessments of supplier reasonableness
- Work closely with functions across different strategic business units (SBUs)
- Contribute to Raytheon’s competitive posture in the defense market and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree and 3 years experience in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Project/Program Management
- Experience issuing RFQs and receiving supplier data
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Experience with the TRUTHFUL COST OR PRICING DATA / Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
- U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract)
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required
- Experience compiling and analyzing supplier cost and pricing data and performing comprehensive price analyses
- Experience performing independent assessments of supplier reasonableness
- Experience working with proposal counterparts and other Supply Chain functions (preferred)
- Experience resolving conflicts and problems quickly and effectively while maintaining independence and ethical behavior (preferred)
- Experience utilizing appropriate analytical techniques to determine reasonableness of supplier proposals (preferred)
- Experience with MS Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel (preferred)
- Experience working with limited supervision and taking ownership of a work scope with multiple, competing priorities (preferred)
