About the role
- Assist the various RTX Tax Divisions with ongoing compliance, planning and exams related to International, State and Local, or Federal Taxes
- Join the Corporate Tax team and support tax compliance and planning activities across business units
- Collaborate with Tax and Finance organization at RTXHQ and Business Units
- Analyze tax information and synthesize data into meaningful analysis to support tax planning and examinations
- Work hybrid from Farmington, CT with variable weekly hours during school year and summer as required
Requirements
- Accounting and/or Finance majors currently in sophomore or junior year
- Candidates must not graduate prior May 2027

- U.S. citizenship is required (U.S. Person/immigration status requirement)
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
- Candidates must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred)
- Good interpersonal skills, including ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout Tax and Finance organization
- Self motivated, able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into meaningful analysis
- Desire to learn about diverse aspects of federal, state and international taxation
