About the role
- 12-week paid internship developing sales, technical, and professional skillsets
- Work with manufacturing customers to improve productivity using Rockwell Automation solutions
- Receive in-person, online, and on-the-job training
- Three tracks: Business Development Representative, Account Manager, Technical Consultant
- BDRs develop and qualify new sales opportunities via phone and digital methods
- Account Managers develop/implement sales strategies and work face-to-face with customers
- Technical Consultants serve as technical resources and communicate product benefits in mixed face-to-face and remote meetings
- Sales interns are placed in field sales offices across the United States
- Rockwell Automation hybrid policy expects employees in office at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
- Expected graduation date is December 2026 or beyond
- Must be enrolled full-time at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
- Pursuing degree in engineering, computer science, industrial distribution, supply chain, business, technical majors or similar
- Valid US driver's license and personal vehicle required for Account Manager and Technical Consultant tracks (not required for BDR track)
- Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, Partner Network, or customers (preferred)
- Experience with technical skills relevant to the manufacturing industry (preferred)
