About the role
- Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements
- Establish procedures for and implement the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program and represent the functional group in the implementation of common processes
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
- Ensures implementation of customer and internal configuration management requirements
- Manage change and status accounting activities to ensure compliance with contractual and configuration management policies
- Establish and control configuration identification processes and baselines
Requirements
- Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant professional experience
- 2 years of professional experience
- Configuration and/or Data Management experience preferred
- Experience with databases (SAP, ERP, PDM, CABS, PRISM, and/or other related databases)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with MSOffice (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Solid competency in project planning
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines
- Ability to identify potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data and take corrective action
- Experience reviewing data and/or processing documentation/records
