About the role
- Serve as DMSMS (Obsolescence)/Development lead over a team of Material Program Managers on SM-3 IIA program
- Liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain
- Create and manage execution of Material Program Strategies and Plans
- Interface with functional and program senior leadership
- Work closely with Program Management, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies
- Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
- Customer Proposal support including generating Supplier RFPs/RFQs and labor BOEs
- Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required
- Financial management (EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.)
- Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
- Management of timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) including Risk & Opportunity management
- Travel domestically/internationally as required (<25%)
Requirements
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
- Or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 7 years experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing
- Experienced leader who has worked in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment with direct reports
- Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
- Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)
- Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be <25%)
