About the role
- Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams composed of systems, software, test, and hardware engineers.
- Support systems engineering program deliverables, including but not limited to model-based engineering models, systems architecture artifacts & description documents, and instruction manuals.
- Support systems engineering program deliverables using MBSE approaches.
- Implement rigorous MBSE approaches using SysML in Cameo Enterprise Architect.
- Implementing traceability between MBSE model content and domain-specific analysis tools and simulation.
- Support requirements development & management for our autonomy products, starting from operational analysis down to systems/software requirements.
- Collaborate with customers and user community to develop and refine autonomous systems.
- Support the Systems Engineering leadership team to provide an innovative solution that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Be willing to travel occasionally to support working groups, system integration and test, customer events, and related external activities.
- Ability to work well with other team members, teammates, and disciplines.
- Completion of assigned tasks on time and on budget and completed work products are of high quality.
Requirements
- Typically requires 2+ years of work-related experience with Systems Engineering, to include, but not limited to: Experience with requirement management and related tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS/DOORS Next Generation.
- Demonstrated experience with requirements decomposition of complex systems.
- Experience with System Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) toolsets (e.g., Cameo Enterprise Architect, IBM Rational Rhapsody).
- Experience in technical writing (e.g., Engineering notebooks, Test Plans, Instruction manuals, etc.).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
