About the role
- Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams composed of systems, software, test, and mission engineering.
- Support systems and software engineering program deliverables.
- Support test activities between systems and software teams.
- This includes planning, conducting, and documenting tests, as well as collaborating with the software engineering team members to discuss/address test results.
- May support customer-led demonstrations and collaborate with customer/user community to refine our collaborative mission autonomy product.
- Support the Systems Engineering leadership team to provide an innovative solution that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support working groups, integration and test, and/or customer events (up to 25% travel).
Requirements
- Typically requires 2+ years of work-related experience with Systems/Software Engineering
- Demonstrated experience supporting integration and tests (I&T) activities of complex systems, including distributed software systems
- Automated testing experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks and tools such Behave, Gherkin
- Experience in technical writing (e.g., Engineering notebooks, Test Plans/Reports, etc.)
- Demonstrated completion of assigned tasks on time and on budget and completed work products are of high quality.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other team members, teammates, and disciplines.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
