About the role
- Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and selection to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop a database to create successful Requests for Quotes (RFQs) with high award ratio
- Support the development of Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Analyze supplier cost structures, market trends, and spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and ensure seamless communication.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and cost, and propose improvement initiatives as needed.
- Assist in supplier relationship management activities, including issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Generate reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate progress and findings to key stakeholders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status)
