About the role

  • Architect and design SAP and Ariba solutions to address complex supply chain challenges, ensuring alignment with RTX standards and industry best practices.
  • Administer and support supply chain applications, including supplier portals, Ariba, SAP, and other enterprise tools.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain customers, DT subject matter experts, enterprise architects, and infrastructure teams to define, test, and implement new or upgraded applications in support of business initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP and Ariba modules, including Procurement, Supplier Management, and Spend Analysis.
  • Support migrations between applications/systems and contribute to enterprise-level synergy projects targeting common applications and processes across the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP and Ariba technologies, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Interact with end customers on technical issues requiring subject matter expert support and drive issues to closure.
  • Collaborate with other Digital Technology teams and software vendors to define service and application roadmaps.
  • Ensure compliance with Security and Global Trade Policies and RTX cybersecurity policies.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, system blueprints, and provide analysis and estimates for upcoming tasks.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, SNC, and SRM systems.
  • Strong expertise in designing processes and implementing digital solutions.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and SQL databases.
  • Ability to travel 15%-20% of the time.
