About the role
- Supporting acquisition and divestiture accounting projects
- Supporting the design and implementation of an International Accounting Operating Model
- Helping the team ensure Raytheon produces accurate and reliable financial statements and associated accounting records
- Maintaining compliance to RTX policies and procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control over financial reporting to support SEC reporting requirements to Corporate
- Partnering with the Business and other functions on accounting initiatives
- Helping Develop talent within the organization
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
- Typically requires 10 years of experience in finance/accounting; or an advance degree and 7 years’ in finance/accounting experience.
- Industry or public accounting firm experience in accounting, audit, or program finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
- Audit/Process Review Experience
- Previous public accounting experience (and revenue auditing) desirable
- Basic knowledge of key international accounting concepts, including transfer pricing and statutory reporting
- Working GAAP accounting knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player and able to collaborate across functions and Raytheon businesses
