Supporting the design and implementation of an International Accounting Operating Model
Helping the team ensure Raytheon produces accurate and reliable financial statements and associated accounting records
Maintaining compliance to RTX policies and procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control over financial reporting to support SEC reporting requirements to Corporate
Partnering with the Business and other functions on accounting initiatives
Helping Develop talent within the organization
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field
Typically requires 10 years of experience in finance/accounting; or an advance degree and 7 years’ in finance/accounting experience.
Industry or public accounting firm experience in accounting, audit, or program finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
Audit/Process Review Experience
Previous public accounting experience (and revenue auditing) desirable
Basic knowledge of key international accounting concepts, including transfer pricing and statutory reporting
Working GAAP accounting knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player and able to collaborate across functions and Raytheon businesses
