Collaborate with functional and business leaders to understand their needs and goals
Provide direct legal support to several of Raytheon’s functional organizations
Advise on relevant U.S. and foreign laws
Collaborate with RTX, Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney functional leaders
Present on legal topics for various purposes and audiences
Manage outside counsel and the general counsel budget
Some domestic and international travel (10-20%)
Requirements
Typically requires 12+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney
5+ years of legal experience in a matrixed corporate organization in aerospace and defense, manufacturing, telecommunications, energy or pharmaceuticals
Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
Currently admitted and in good standing with at least one U.S. State bar, and eligible to represent Raytheon as in-house legal counsel
