About the role
- Experienced in managing design, delivery, and commissioning of Building Services in a construction environment
- Working with the Tender & Preconstruction Teams to ensure the clients requirements are met
- Vetting of subcontractors’ tender returns for compliance
- Ensure that all Building Services needs are met and reflected in the building
- Supporting Site Management and H&S Teams with review of method statements and safe systems of work
- Managing the Design, Drawings, and approvals process
- Supporting Planning Teams & Project Manager in integration into the delivery programme
- Compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, specifications and BREEAM
- Establishing and managing quality systems for high standards
- Conducting quality control inspections using BIM 360
- Monitoring progress against targets and assisting with evaluations
- Chair weekly or bi-weekly rolling progress meetings with sub-contractors
- Support the commercial teams with contract changes and valuations
- Managing the commissioning process and training for building users
- Completion of ‘as installed drawing’ and O&M Manual
- Attending client progress and technical meetings
- Management of sub-contractors installation works and health and safety aspects
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience within a similar role
- Technically qualified with a back ground including commissioning
- Good communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Works well within a team environment with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent IT skills and experience is using Microsoft Office
- Dynamic and ambitious
- Ability to plan own work, using own initiative, with a can-do and willing attitude
