About the role
- Manage bid submission dates and coordinate governance deadlines.
- Support in the preparation of governance documents and manage contributors to meet timescales.
- Co-ordinate, develop and maintain a high-quality bid content library using standardised formats and best practices.
- Manage Procurement Portals and upload information and submissions on time.
- Support the preparation of tender submissions including use of InDesign to produce tender submissions.
- Support project research and pipeline management.
- Support the interpretation of client documents and requirements, ensuring they are clearly reflected in our proposals.
- Develop case studies and project examples to showcase BAM’s construction expertise and delivery excellence.
- Continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of bid process and submissions through review, feedback, and lessons learned.
- General support of administration of the office as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the construction or built environment sector.
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities independently.
- Encourages financial awareness and value-driven thinking across bid processes.
- Makes data-informed decisions to align submissions with client and business priorities.
- Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and accountability in delivering outcomes.
