Assist in maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounting and reconciliations
Complete and maintain bank reconciliations for all cash accounts.
Review sales tax returns generated by our third-party tax compliance software, assist with sales tax filings as needed
Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
Review coding of invoices, credit cards, and reimbursements for accuracy.
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
Verify inventory costing is accurate, monthly counts are posted and ending inventory balances are reconciled.
Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Performs other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field, required.
At least three years of related experience required.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and NetSuite or similar ERP software.
