Backend Engineer

• Build the application-layer foundations for AI integration at Roofr — the integration patterns, agent scaffolding, and shared architecture that product teams depend on when shipping AI-powered features
• Design and implement reliable, scalable integrations with third-party services and APIs
• Build data pipelines that feed Roofr's AI systems — including structured data feeds, embeddings, and retrieval infrastructure
• Design and maintain rigorous evaluation frameworks for AI systems — including accuracy benchmarks, regression suites, and automated quality checks that give the team confidence to iterate quickly
• Collaborate horizontally across engineering teams to understand needs, establish shared patterns, and ensure the platform is built for real use cases
• Take strong ownership of what you build — reliability, performance, and developer experience are part of the job, not an afterthought
• Contribute to standards and best practices for how Roofr builds with AI
• Stay close to the evolving AI landscape and bring pragmatic, well-reasoned ideas to the team

Senior Backend Engineer, AI Platform

Marketing

• Own, map and continuously improve Roofr's customer lifecycle, identifying trends, drop-off points, and behavior-based triggers.
• Partner with marketing and revenue teams to translate insights into funnel-specific campaigns that drive activation, retention, and revenue growth.
• Build and optimize multi‑touch, behavior‑driven lifecycle campaigns via email, SMS, in‑app messaging, sales sequences, and drip flows. Use segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to iterate and improve results over time.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Content, and Product Marketing to test messaging, creative assets, and conversion touchpoints.
• Partner with Revenue Ops/Data teams to ensure clean, actionable customer and campaign data for effective automation and personalization.
• Own campaign reporting and analytics across HubSpot, Amplitude, GA4, and Pendo, tracking activation, engagement, retention, and upsell metrics, and translating findings into actionable optimizations.

Lifecycle Marketing Lead

• Orchestrate the hybrid motion with Sales: Identify the product signals that indicate a contractor is ready for a sales conversation and build the playbooks that turn those signals into pipeline, across both new subscriber acquisition and expansion of the existing base.
• Drive activation and expansion: Own the in-product experience that gets new contractors to value fast and design the expansion loops that drive deeper adoption and multi-product retention across the customer base.
• Grow self-serve revenue: Own the self-serve motion across transactional and subscription products, with particular focus on Measure+ and in-product upgrade paths.
• Build and scale Roofr Voice, our AI voice agent: Own the product strategy and roadmap for Roofr Voice, our AI voice agent for roofing contractors, and define what success looks like as both a retention driver and a net-new revenue stream.
• Lead the team and the metrics: Lead the Growth team, including Engineering, Design, and Data Science, build a fast experimentation culture, and own the growth metrics that matter to leadership.
