Consultant

• Provide technical expertise in pre-sales activities for a specific range of products within a defined region
• Support sellers in conversations with customers about our solutions
• Apply deep application, industry, product, technology or solution knowledge of automation control systems
• Report to the Technology Consultant Manager and work in a hybrid capacity within the region
• Partner with the sales team in promoting the product range to existing and new customers and update customers on new products and technology
• Participate in trade shows, seminars and similar marketing activities and offer demonstrations to customers
• Support market access (distributors and system integrators) and support launch of new products to sales teams and channel
• Validate and resolve product compatibility issues within architectural solutions and provide guidance to customers
• Use domain expertise as a resource for internal partners and to advise customers on products, solutions and services
• Analyze competitive products and strategies and define competitive differentiators
• Understand business models, organization and go-to-market strategy and leverage where appropriate
• Build customer relationships, plan and prioritize work, and collaborate to meet shared goals
