About the role
- Conduct Start Up of Rockwell Automation Medium Voltage products & 3rd party components on customer locations (AC Drives, Soft starters, Switchgear & Controllers)
- Provide emergency breakdown support, repair and on-site analysis on Medium Voltage products
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues worldwide
- Participate in the on-call support mechanism as part of the EMEA MV Support Rota
- Perform preventative maintenance activities on Rockwell Automation products
- Lead on-site Start Up Project Management and liaise with LCS Project Manager(s)
- Support LCS Project Manager(s) and Proposal Engineer(s) with quotes for spares and services
- Complete all on-site project administration such as commissioning guidelines, reports & drawings
- Conduct training for customers/colleagues
- Accurately complete commissioning/service documentation after every project and submit to relevant team members
- Communicate intelligence from site (e.g. BOT hours usage, schedule impact, contractual matters, new business opportunities)
- Use Field Service Portal on SAP to book billable hours daily
- Promote the Rockwell Automation services portfolio
- Report to EMEA Delivery Manager MV and work across EMEA customer sites and Rockwell locations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Medium Voltage Drives background
- Excellent knowledge of the industrial automation product range and applications
- Ability to travel 80% of time, EMEA region
- Eligibility to live, work and travel in EU (visa sponsorship and relocation support not available)
- Participate in on-call support as part of the EMEA MV Support Rota
- Ability to conduct start-up, commissioning, maintenance and repair of MV products
- Ability to provide technical support to customers and colleagues worldwide
- Ability to complete project administration, commissioning reports & drawings
- Preferred: Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical / Electronic or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: Willingness to relocate to Hungary or Turkey
