About the role

  • Own and close new customer opportunities, with a focus on government and public sector accounts
  • Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic networking
  • Lead the full sales cycle from discovery through RFI/RFP, proposal development, negotiation, and contract award
  • Develop and execute territory plans focused on new logo acquisition, contract vehicles, and long-term public sector growth
  • Run in-depth discovery conversations to uncover customer needs and align solutions
  • Deliver compelling presentations and formal proposals that articulate Cerio’s value, ROI, and alignment to government evaluation criteria
  • Manage complex sales processes, including procurement protocols, multi-stakeholder buying committees, and regulated negotiations
  • Forecast revenue accurately, accounting for government budget cycles and approval timelines, and maintain pipeline visibility within the CRM

Requirements

  • Proven success closing new business and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience selling complex or emerging technology markets (Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure or Server, Data Center environments preferred) into Federal/Provincial Government
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and deal discipline
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating independently in a growth-stage company
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales forecasting
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites across Canada and/or the U.S.
