Define and execute a business development strategy aligned to rockITdata’s growth goals
Serve as a thought leader across the company and the federal health ecosystem
Own the capture lifecycle — from identification and qualification through proposal and close including leading the proposal process from end-to-end
Maintain sales stage and opportunity updates in rockITdata’s pipeline application
Build organizational capacity with others while acting as a motivational coach to grow other team members as rockITdata scales
Collaborate with rockITdata’s contracts department to ensure all NDAs, RFIs, RFPs etc. are completed in a timely manner
Collaborate with Marketing and Innovation teams to drive brand awareness, campaigns, and thought leadership content within Military & Veterans Health
Requirements
10+ years of experience leading Strategic Captures for technologies AND related services with the Federal Government
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence external and internal stakeholders
Significant experience in building and maintaining relationships with a track record of success in converting those relationships to transacted contracts
Superior complex problem solving and decision-making abilities
Proactive work style with the ability to develop strategies, plans, and drive opportunities to close
Proficiency with GovWin and federal opportunity tools and databases
