Associate Director, Family Recruitment – Engagement

• Ensure every Rocketship student has access to exceptional teachers and instructional staff.
• Serve as a strategic talent partner to school and regional leaders, driving staffing strategy.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for instructional roles with a focus on hard-to-fill positions.
• Conduct resume screens, phone interviews, and candidate assessments.
• Facilitate selection events and hiring fairs to connect strong candidates with hiring managers.
• Provide data and insights to support informed hiring decisions and problem-solve barriers to filling roles.
• Identify and represent Rocketship Public Schools at in-person career fairs, university recruitment events, and community gatherings.

Senior Recruiter – Instructional Staff

Director

• The Senior Director of School Leadership is responsible for designing, leading, and continuously improving the organization’s approach to school leadership development, coaching, and core school-based practices.
• Provide transformative direct support to key senior leaders to ensure school excellence in every region.
• Set vision for effective regional and school leadership systems, create scalable tools and resources, and coach senior leaders.
• Partner with executive sponsor and working group to codify a system of support for Transformation Schools and regions requiring intensive intervention.

Senior Director – School Leadership

Human Resources

• Serve as a thought partner to regional and school leaders, translating organizational strategy into actionable people plans that drive engagement, retention, and performance.
• Make independent, sound HR decisions; balance compliance with business judgment and empathy.
• Anticipate workforce trends and recommend proactive strategies to address turnover, leadership readiness, and culture health.
• Lead and coach leaders through organizational change, conflict, and performance management with discretion and composure.
• Collaborates with the recruiting team on a weekly basis to review hiring progress, share key updates, and provide regional leadership with timely recruitment insights and data.
• Build deep, trust-based partnerships across executive, school, and support teams to influence without authority.
• Foster strong collaboration with Talent, Program, and other cross-functional partners to align systems and practices.
• Act as a cultural leader who models open communication, inclusivity, and professional accountability.
• Design and deliver targeted development sessions for school and regional leaders to strengthen performance management, coaching, and compliance acumen.
• Drive HR project execution and process improvements across regions.

Associate Director, Human Resources

Learning and Development

• Coordinate logistical support for conferences & trainings, ensuring all materials, supplies, and spaces are prepared and executed according to plan.
• Prepare and organize training materials, lead a team of seasonal, hourly operations specialists to support location setup and cleanup.
• Support event setup and décor, ensuring spaces are clean, organized, and visually cohesive, with attention to detail in layout, signage, and overall presentation.
• Manage and track event registrations and RSVPs, maintain accurate attendee rosters, update calendar invitations and listservs, and follow up with participants as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support event logistics.
• Track and ensure delivery of all session-specific materials and supplies needed by facilitators, presenters, and participants.
• Assist with event communications and attendee logistics.
• Navigate state online systems to submit and monitor the status of credential applications.
• Review employee transcripts and other documents to determine subject matter competency and eligibility for various teaching credentials.
• Complete credential applications accurately with precise employee information.
• Utilize DocuSign to send and collect signed documents; follow up with employees as needed to ensure each action is completed.
• Be familiar with teacher certification regulations and ensure accurate completion and submission of all required documentation in accordance with policies.
• Manage ongoing stakeholder communications related to credentialing status and updates.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely, professional communication to Rocketship employees and external partners, reflecting Rocketship's core values.
• Maintain and update internal knowledge management systems, including learning & development and credentialing websites, shared resource hubs, and content libraries.
• Organize and manage training materials (e.g., slide decks, handouts, resources) to ensure they are current, accessible, and easy to navigate.
• Manage and update communication tools such as listservs and distribution lists to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
