About the role

  • Develop, post, and manage job advertisements across internal and external platforms.
  • Conduct targeted searches using the internal database and online recruitment tools to build strong longlists of potential candidates.
  • Conduct phone screens and schedule structured interviews (in-person or virtual).
  • Lead structured interviews while ensuring adherence to labour standards and non-discrimination practices.
  • Evaluate candidates’ skills, attributes, and suitability using a variety of assessment techniques.
  • Prepare detailed candidate summaries outlining strengths, development areas, interests, and career objectives.
  • Create, manage, and maintain active talent pools within the ATS.
  • Present qualified candidates to the Account Manager for review and client submission.
  • Prepare and coach candidates ahead of client interviews and complete timely post interview follow-ups.
  • Follow up with Account Managers regarding candidate status to ensure ongoing communication and clarity.
  • Conduct reference checks with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Support various recruitment projects as needed.
  • Prepare and validate paperwork required for criminal or credit background checks.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in high-volume recruitment, ideally within a VMS supported environment.
  • Experience using Bullhorn is considered a strong asset.
  • Comfortable with MS Office, Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong organizational, planning, thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive, resilient, creative, and solution-focused mindset.
  • Bilingual in French & English is considered an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or post-secondary education is an asset.
