About the role

  • Plan, develop, implement, and optimize organization's internal SharePoint platform from the ground up.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (IT, HR, Operations, Marketing, Sales, etc) to gather and define intranet requirements.
  • Plan and develop the structure, navigation, and features of the company intranet.
  • Build, customize, and configure the intranet platform (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or other CMS tools).
  • Implement user roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Design intuitive user interfaces and workflows for content publishing, file sharing, and employee engagement.
  • Integrate third-party tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, ticketing systems).
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, search functionality, and a secure environment.
  • Provide training and support for content owners and users.
  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot the intranet regularly.
  • Measure engagement and effectiveness through analytics and user feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in intranet development, web development, or digital workplace solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint Online, Confluence, WordPress, Google Workspace).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS customization.
  • Graphic design or basic branding experience.
  • Experience with SSO, user authentication, and permissions management.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
