Engineer

• Lead an engineering team to design, implement, and execute subsystem silicon bringup plans, including functional and performance tests to validate the subsystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, architecture, firmware, and software to ensure successful subsystem integration and validation.
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure successful subsystem bringup and validation, including reviewing and providing feedback on vendor documentation, and coordinating with vendor support teams.
• Debug and root-cause issues found during subsystem bringup and validation, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of subsystem bringup and validation processes and methodologies, including automation, tool development, and documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subsystem technology and industry trends.
• Test generation, test infrastructure setup, bringup planning and execution, validation plan development and execution for DDR/HBM, PCIe, CPU, and data accelerator subsystems.

Silicon Bring-up and Validation Engineer

• Perform the thermal design and analysis of semiconductor products, including integrated circuits, packages, modules, and complete systems, ensuring optimal thermal performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement innovative air cooling and liquid cooling solutions for high-power density semiconductor devices, from concept generation to detailed design.
• Conduct thermal simulations using advanced CFD tools (e.g., Icepak, Flotherm, Fluent) to predict temperature distributions, airflow patterns, and heat transfer characteristics.
• Perform thermal design sensitivity analyses, trade-off studies, and optimization to meet performance, cost, and reliability targets
• Perform transient thermal modeling of Rivos packages for thermal/power management.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, product engineering, and manufacturing teams to integrate thermal solutions seamlessly into product designs.
• Execute thermal validation testing using wind tunnels, specialized mock-up systems, and other laboratory equipment.
• Utilize data acquisition systems (DAQs), power supplies, thermal cameras, thermocouples, and other relevant instrumentation for accurate thermal measurements.
• Develop and maintain detailed thermal models, documentation, and reports throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex thermal issues during product development, qualification, and field deployment
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in thermal management technologies, materials, and simulation tools.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and other quality assurance activities to ensure robust thermal designs.
• Collaborate with CM, OEM and ODMs to develop mockups, test samples and production parts

Thermal Engineer

• Lead Technical Design: Own the end-to-end design and delivery of high-performance custom standard cells, including complex sequential, clock gating, and power management cells.
• Innovate & Optimize: Drive the design of new and innovative circuit architectures to push the boundaries of performance and power efficiency at advanced process nodes (N3/N5 and beyond).
• Mentor & Guide: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with physical design, layout, and CAD teams to define requirements, optimize designs for PPA, and ensure seamless integration into the chip design flow.
• Validate & Qualify: Perform advanced circuit analysis, reliability checks, and SPICE simulations to validate designs across various corners and ensure compliance with all reliability standards (EM/IR, ESD, Latch-up).
• Improve Methodologies: Proactively identify and implement improvements to design methodologies, tools, and flows to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Senior Standard Cell Design Engineer

• Model and analyze power consumption for various workloads on custom silicon, working closely with the CPU Architecture, Performance, and Implementation teams to define overall power requirements.
• Analyze power and performance trade-offs, drive detailed cost-benefit analyses, and make recommendations for power reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with the Performance, Design Verification, and RTL teams to create targeted test vectors that model appropriate workloads and functionality scenarios for accurate simulation.
• Own the end-to-end power simulation process, including analysis, tuning, correlation, and presenting results to the Architecture, Logic Design, and Physical Design teams.
• Partner with the CAD and Physical Design teams to enhance power estimation methodologies, simulation flows, and regression analysis.
