About the role
- Lead the full project lifecycle for IT initiatives, from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, analysts, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and business expectations.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate effective communication between business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Oversee change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or similar roles.
- Proven track record of delivering technology projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software implementation, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity concepts is desirable.
