About the role

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, business, operations, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring proactive risk mitigation.
  • Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and risks to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring that all expectations and requirements are met.
  • Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment and provide guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Ensure that the appropriate resources (people, tools, and technology) are available to deliver the project successfully.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies and implement best practices.
  • Facilitate retrospectives and feedback loops to improve team performance and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations and collaborate with QA teams to incorporate testing and validation into the project delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or in a similar role (e.g., Project Manager, Scrum Master) within an IT or technical environment.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-focused with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications (Optional but preferred): PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum.
  • ITIL certification for IT service management.
