About the role
- Provide technical support, system integration, and application development for Rittal's automation systems.
- Engage with clients to understand their automation needs.
- Perform installations and configurations of automation systems.
- Diagnose system faults, perform repairs, and execute corrective actions.
- Conduct training sessions for clients and end-users on Rittal automation systems.
- Assist with setup and demonstration of RAS machines during trade shows.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Technical certification with PLC or CNC Controls
- 5+ years work experience in Controls Engineering or CNC Machines
- Knowledge of pneumatics and vacuum systems, electricity (AC/DC)
- Working knowledge of CAD/AutoCAD
- Familiarity with automation software (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000)
- In-depth knowledge of automation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Basic understanding of drilling, tapping, and milling of metal parts
- Conversational and technical knowledge of German is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft products.
