About the role

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand clients' unique risks and insurance requirements, including all personal lines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional insurance products and services to existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating claims processes efficiently and discreetly.
  • Educate clients on evolving insurance markets, risk management strategies, and policy changes.
  • Participate in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand the client base and represent RSC Insurance Brokerage, Inc.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and policy information within the company's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims specialists, and other internal departments to ensure seamless client service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the private client insurance market.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a significant focus in Private Client Service.
  • Active OR Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of complex personal lines insurance products and services, including specialty coverages for affluent individuals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AMS360 or Epic, and CRM software preferred.
