About the role
- Interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Develops and maintains relationships with clients and carriers
- Researches and analyzes medical, life, disability and other benefit plans
- Acts as the benefit expert to clients
- Manages a book of business of approximately $1,000,000+
- Keeps clients apprised of appropriate industry trends
- Proactively anticipates client needs
- Manages request for proposals and renewals
- Reviews work and provides feedback to team members
Requirements
- BA/BS preferred
- 5+ years of health & welfare experience
- Client-facing experience in the employee benefit industry
- Technical knowledge of benefits administration
- Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
