About the role
- Providing 99,999% availability in production Data Center networks for application (Video, Voice, Messaging) across the globe
- Continuously improving and extending network technologies in existing DCs
- Building out networks in new DCs
- Troubleshooting and fixing issues together with infrastructure and application teams
- Support Lab/Stage/Regression environments
- Participation in on call rotation
- Responsible for design, overall view and approach
Requirements
- ISP, ENT, DC
- Juniper family experience (MX,SRX, EX,QFX platforms)
- STP, RSTP, RTG
- VRRP
- Link aggregation
- OSPF, iBGP, eBGP, FBF/PBR, VRF/routing instances
- GRE, IPIP, IPSec
- TCP/IP
- DHCP, DNS, TACACS
- Firewalls (iptables, firewalld, vendor based solutions from Cisco, Juniper, etc)
- Linux on experienced user level
- Understanding of server infrastructure side (baremetall, virtualization with hypervisor, containers)
- Experience in both green/brown field deployments
- Upper Intermediate English
- Good to have: EVPN/VXLAN
- MC-LAG
- ECMP
- MPLS
- Understanding of High Availability approaches, clusterization
- Load Balancing (A10, F5, IPVS)
- Using Bash/Python for automation
- Netconf, PyEZ, Ansible
- Networking in public clouds (AWS, GCP, IBM, Oracle, Azure)
