About the role

  • Providing 99,999% availability in production Data Center networks for application (Video, Voice, Messaging) across the globe
  • Continuously improving and extending network technologies in existing DCs
  • Building out networks in new DCs
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues together with infrastructure and application teams
  • Support Lab/Stage/Regression environments
  • Participation in on call rotation
  • Responsible for design, overall view and approach

Requirements

  • ISP, ENT, DC
  • Juniper family experience (MX,SRX, EX,QFX platforms)
  • STP, RSTP, RTG
  • VRRP
  • Link aggregation
  • OSPF, iBGP, eBGP, FBF/PBR, VRF/routing instances
  • GRE, IPIP, IPSec
  • TCP/IP
  • DHCP, DNS, TACACS
  • Firewalls (iptables, firewalld, vendor based solutions from Cisco, Juniper, etc)
  • Linux on experienced user level
  • Understanding of server infrastructure side (baremetall, virtualization with hypervisor, containers)
  • Experience in both green/brown field deployments
  • Upper Intermediate English
  • Good to have: EVPN/VXLAN
  • MC-LAG
  • ECMP
  • MPLS
  • Understanding of High Availability approaches, clusterization
  • Load Balancing (A10, F5, IPVS)
  • Using Bash/Python for automation
  • Netconf, PyEZ, Ansible
  • Networking in public clouds (AWS, GCP, IBM, Oracle, Azure)
