About the role

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the expanding ANZ Legal team and report to the Director and Managing Counsel - ANZ.
  • Administer the ServiceNow legal ticketing intake for the ANZ region.
  • Review, redline, and finalize NDAs, Amendments, and service agreements; draft legal documents from templates under manager direction.
  • Coordinate signatures for contracts, prepare initial drafts, validate redlined or executed agreements, and proofread contracts.
  • Draft legal correspondence and conduct legal research to support attorneys and contract analysts.
  • Track and monitor transaction status and coordinate routing of legal documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal business partners and collaborate with the Global Legal department and other functional areas to facilitate timely transaction closures.
  • Maintain the contract template library and coordinate the translation of all templates.
  • Utilize CMS systems, Adobe Sign, and Adobe Acrobat DC, including fillable PDF forms; demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Assist with company secretarial duties for ANZ operations (e.g., annual filings/returns).

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Paralegal (or equivalent), either in a law firm or top tier corporate environment.
  • Australian residency required.
  • Fluency in written and spoken business English is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill all essential duties and responsibilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent judgment and sound decision-making.
  • High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility in legal matters.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel, including senior executives.
