About the role
- Build trusted senior-level client relationships by acting as a proactive partner who anticipates needs and identifies new ways to drive measurable growth.
- Translate business objectives into clear strategies and actionable programs that accelerate client performance.
- Continuously uncover opportunities to unlock value and strengthen the agency’s impact across the client’s portfolio.
- Lead the development of integrated sports marketing strategies that not only engage audiences but also deliver tangible business outcomes.
- Ensure all programs are anchored in KPIs and insights, turning data into actionable growth opportunities.
- Drive account profitability by delivering programs that maximize client value - executed efficiently, on time, and within budget - so resources can be reinvested into growth initiatives.
- Champion innovation, bringing forward new ideas and approaches that help clients stay ahead of industry shifts.
- Inspire and lead teams to deliver their best work, ensuring outputs consistently elevate client growth and brand impact.
- Mentor and develop team members to strengthen both agency capability and client delivery.
- Create a collaborative, high-performance environment where strategic and creative talent is harnessed to deliver measurable results for clients.
- Contribute to agency growth by spotting organic expansion opportunities and leading strategic proposals that deliver client value.
- Partner with leadership to win new business, leveraging expertise to shape winning narratives and growth strategies.
- Represent the agency as a senior voice in sports marketing, ensuring clients benefit from cutting-edge insights, trends, and best practices.
- Champion efficiency and excellence across accounts, creating replicable models that scale client impact.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in sports marketing, sponsorship, brand partnerships, or related fields. Prior experience in Formula 1 is essential.
- Proven track record of leading major client accounts and delivering measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of the global sports ecosystem, including rights holders, sponsorship models, and fan engagement strategies.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at senior levels.
- Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, scopes, and profitability.
- A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and inspires teams to deliver their best work.
- Creative & passionate about sponsorship, brand experience and hospitality delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning, client development, and account growth initiatives.
- Adept at delivering projects to, at times, tight & challenging deadlines.
- Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups.
- Interest in trends, learning new skills and developing creative ideas.
- Willingness to work flexible work hours, including weekends, while planning for and balancing with deserved time away.
