Medical Director

• Provides oversight and supervision to the Clinical program functions in ICF/IDD facilities.
• Ensures that the Person-Centered Planning process is implemented per company, state and federal guidelines by mentoring, training, guiding and overseeing the tasks and duties assigned to the Qualified Professionals at each ICF location.
• Assists the ICF locations with ensuring the Qualified Professional tasks are completed when a QP position is vacant.
• Provides ongoing training for new and existing Qualified Professionals.
• Works in collaboration with Quality Assurance, the Unit Administrator and the Director of Operations to ensure identified outcomes are met.

Clinical Director – ICF

Events

• Coordinate the timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and events that meet regulatory and organizational criteria for reportability.
• Ensure that all reportable events are documented in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.
• Conduct thorough investigations of reported events, including interviewing staff, reviewing documentation, and gathering other pertinent information.
• Analyze incidents to determine root causes and identify trends or patterns that may indicate systemic issues.
• Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies regarding reportable events.
• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies within established timeframes.
• Stay updated on changes to regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
• Work with relevant departments to develop and implement corrective action plans to address issues identified during investigations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and adjust strategies as needed to prevent recurrence.
• Provide training to staff on reporting procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practices for incident management.
• Develop and maintain educational materials and resources for staff.
• Maintain an organized and secure database of reportable events and related documentation.
• Generate reports and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing the frequency and severity of reportable events.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall quality and safety within the organization.

Reportable Event Management Specialist

• Source potential candidates for hire through a variety of methods through networking, various social media platforms, connections with professional associations across the specialized and technical spectrums, to ensure attracting the best possible candidates.
• Create job postings to place on various online and offline resources that are articulate, professional and attention-grabbing to attract high quality candidates.
• Utilize a variety of techniques to discover and attract the best passive talent
• Conduct thorough behavioral based interviews and phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills be successful in the RHA environment
• Serves as the point-of-contact in recommending hiring rates, making job offers to potential candidates, developing offer letters, and finalizing hiring details for the job applicant.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory employment guidelines.
