Senior Director, Technical Training

DevOps Engineer

• Develop and execute boiler outage inspection plans, ensuring adequate resources and thorough evaluations during planned and unplanned outages
• Perform and coordinate condition assessments of boiler pressure parts, refractory, high-energy piping, and flue gas systems
• Review inspection results and provide clear recommendations to facility leadership during and after outages
• Prepare condition assessment reports and executive summaries, including risk prioritization and maintenance recommendations
• Support development of long-term maintenance planning and lifecycle strategies for boiler components
• Review pressure part replacement scopes and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality, specifications, and delivery requirements are met
• Oversee and participate in QA/QC inspections, including shop inspections and field verification
• Coordinate inspections of related systems including scrubbers, baghouses, and flue gas ductwork
• Partner with engineering and corporate teams on material evaluations, standards, and improvement initiatives
• Maintain and analyze historical equipment data to support reliability improvements and failure reduction strategies

Boiler Reliability Engineer

• Serve as a team lead and mentor for training colleagues.
• Create and execute the strategy for technical training for employees in Waste to Energy, Transfer Stations, Environmental Solutions, and Profiled Waste.
• Prepare the curriculum for new entry-level employees beginning with Safety.
• Develop site training capabilities.
• Monitor learning maturity and ensure continuous improvement for training systems and programs.

Customer Support

• Hire, train & develop customer service personnel across all MPF locations
• Complete yearly reviews and develop goals for personnel to support the company, region, and department
• Establish standard job descriptions and roles and responsibilities for all Client Services positions
• Work with Sr Director, Customer Care in defining a strategy to reorganize the Customer Service Department
• Achieve budgeted revenue targets related to assigned book of customers
• Mentor and manage Account Managers in achieving individual revenue quotas
• Grow and foster a Customer First Culture: provide timely, reliable, accurate information and documentation to our customer base
• Champion Customer Service commitment to same day response for all internal/external customer inquiries
• Train and coach customer service representatives to ensure quality and standardization of roles, responsibilities, system utilization and overall service delivery
• Build on-call scheduling function including definition and measurement of KPIs
• Participate in client review meetings and sales presentations as required

Customer Care Manager

• Lead the execution of corporate safety and health programs across multiple facilities
• Directly support, coach, and influence Facility Safety Program Managers and Safety Coordinators across the region
• Partner with facility leadership and maintenance teams to drive a strong, proactive safety culture
• Conduct site audits, including quarterly safety assessments, and ensure corrective actions are effectively tracked and closed
• Lead or participate in incident investigations, including OSHA-recordable events and near misses, utilizing root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable ANSI, NFPA, and NIOSH standards
• Support outage planning and execution, including oversight of high-risk, safety-critical work activities
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of corporate safety procedures and programs
• Support VPP Star certification and recertification efforts where applicable
• Manage safety-related budgets within established corporate guidelines
• Serve as a subject matter expert in industrial hygiene, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation
• Drive the adoption of leading indicators and proactive safety initiatives
• Promote continuous improvement and accountability across all sites
