About the role

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve/exceed sales targets for automation and liquid handling platforms
  • Develop strategic account plans for pharma, biotech, CROs, diagnostics, and academic institutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
  • Understand customer workflows (NGS, HTS, ADME/DMPK, compound management) and recommend optimized automation solutions
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept collaborations with applications teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (lab managers, PIs, procurement)
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and accurate sales forecasts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, applications, and service teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals/biomedical, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field
  • 7–10 years of successful sales experience in laboratory automation, liquid handling, or capital equipment
  • Strong knowledge of automated workflows (NGS, Drug Discovery, DMPK/ADME)
  • Familiarity with liquid handling technologies and lab automation/robotics
  • Proven consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in English; regional languages a plus
  • Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
