About the role
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Partner with leaders to address performance issues, organizational changes, and employee relations concerns.
- Guide managers through difficult conversations and provide coaching on people management.
- Support performance review processes and career progression conversations.
- Lead investigations and resolution of workplace concerns.
- Advise on compensation decisions, promotions, and organizational design.
- Identify patterns affecting retention and propose solutions to strengthen engagement.
- Collaborate with our HR and Recruiting Ops Associate to maintain seamless People operations.
- Support onboarding processes, contributing to structured 60-day plans and check-in cadences for new hires.
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and feedback synthesis.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to culture-building efforts.
- Support monthly all-hands meetings with updates on People initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to refine policies and practices that support our values.
- Build systems and processes that scale our culture as we grow.
- Own full-cycle recruiting for strategic hires across functions.
- Source and screen candidates for key roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and craft compelling role profiles.
- Maintain recruiting processes and candidate experience standards.
- Track key recruiting metrics and manage relationships with recruiting partners as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR generalist or HRBP roles, with strong employee relations and performance management capabilities.
- Proven track record handling sensitive employee situations with discretion and sound judgment.
- Experience coaching managers through performance issues, difficult conversations, and organizational changes.
- Recruiting experience across multiple functions, with ability to manage strategic hires independently.
- Comfort building and refining people processes in high-growth or startup environments.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns in employee data.
- Proficiency in HR systems and familiarity with ATS platforms.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
