About the role
- Responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and platform services
- Oversee design, implementation, and performance of core infrastructure services including network operations, cloud platforms, identity and access management, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and end-user support services
- Lead teams responsible for Service Desk operations, infrastructure engineering, and cloud services
- Partner closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders for infrastructure services aligned with organizational strategy and security standards
- Oversee enterprise cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS, ensuring security, compliance, and governance standards are met
- Establish standards, policies, and governance for infrastructure services
- Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational performance metrics
- Provide leadership and oversight of IT Service Desk and end-user support teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
- Master’s degree in Information Systems or Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or platform engineering
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
- Strong experience managing enterprise infrastructure including: cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS), enterprise networking, identity and access management, infrastructure security and certificates, Microsoft 365 services
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing cross-functional IT initiatives
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, enterprise technology environments
- Focus on delivering high-quality end-user services
- Experience managing enterprise infrastructure teams (preferred)
- Experience implementing cloud transformation initiatives (preferred)
- Experience managing enterprise Microsoft environments (preferred)
- Experience operating infrastructure in regulated or security-sensitive environment (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred)
- Microsoft 365 Certifications (preferred)
- ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional (preferred)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar security certification (preferred)
