About the role
- Own Technical Onboarding: Build and execute 90-day success plans to drive Time-to-First-Value.
- Drive Continuous Adoption & Viral Growth: Build relationship and trust with key technical and business stakeholders, proactively run enablement sessions, technical workshops, and hackathons to keep teams building and increasing the value they are getting out of Replit.
- Source & Qualify Expansion Opportunities: Proactively identify new teams, new use cases, and new projects. Provide technical validation and support commercial close.
- Run Value-Based QBRs: Co-lead quarterly business reviews with Account Managers, shifting the conversation to business value delivered and strategic roadmap alignment.
- Be the Voice of the Customer: Act as internal advocate to Product and Engineering. Your feedback directly shapes Replit's roadmap.
- Strategic Technical Discovery: When you are pulled into complex deals, join as the expert closer. Run deep discovery on their stack and constraints, then design the technical win strategy.
- Proof of Value (POV) & Live Building: You will build live, functional applications on the fly during executive meetings to prove immediate value and technical feasibility to VPs and C-suite stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Customer Engineer or Forward Deployed Engineer at a high-growth B2B SaaS or dev tools company
- Proven post-sales ownership: You've managed a book of 15-25+ enterprise accounts, driving adoption, expansion, and renewal with measurable NRR impact
- Pre-sales technical selling experience: You've run POCs, onboarding sessions, webinars, and workshops. You've led technical meetings with the ability to listen to vague or concrete requirements and translate them on the fly into technical concepts, explain them clearly, and navigate rapidly changing meetings and unexpected challenges
- Hands-on technical credibility: You can read and write code (JavaScript, Python, or similar). You've built applications and understand APIs, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud architecture
- Exceptional communication: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executives and translate business requirements into technical architecture
- Comfort with up to 25% travel (expect 30%+)
