Repair the World

Communications

• Lead project management and execution of Repair's two major annual fundraising campaigns, including strategy, content, channel mix, timeline, and cross-functional coordination
• Plan and execute grassroots fundraising efforts between major campaigns, including giving days, thematic moments, matching gift opportunities, and smaller engagement pushes
• Own the annual donor communications calendar across all giving levels, with emphasis on grassroots and mid-level donors
• Write and produce Repair's national donor newsletter and regular community updates
• Write donor-facing content, including blog posts, stories from the field, impact snapshots, and other materials that can be promoted to donors and supporters
• Conduct prospect research to support frontline fundraisers, including individual, foundation, and corporate prospects
• Coordinate with marketing/communications, programs, and digital teams on campaign execution and content needs
• Support development leadership in testing engagement strategies such as peer-to-peer campaigns and donor event content

Manager, Donor Communications

• Develop and implement a comprehensive long and short-term program strategy that centers Jewish service programs and incorporates Repair the World’s core program models.
• Ensure Repair’s Jewish educational pedagogy is infused consistently throughout all programs, deepening participant engagement.
• Align local program strategies with Repair the World’s organizational mission and values.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of local programs.
• Develop strategy and execution plan for geographic expansion or Repair across Los Angeles.
• Lead all fundraising efforts for Repair the World Los Angeles.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of individual donors, foundations, and institutional partners.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Repair the World Los Angeles team.
• Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with Jewish and service-based organizations in Los Angeles.
• Manage the program's budget and communications strategy.

Managing Director

• Lead all fundraising efforts for Repair the World Bay Area and Repair the World Chicago, developing and executing local strategies aligned with national development priorities.
• Own and achieve annual fundraising goals across both markets through a diversified portfolio of individual donors, foundations, federations, and corporate partners.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors and institutional partners, with a strong emphasis on individual giving as a primary growth driver.
• Identify and develop new funding opportunities within the Bay Area and Chicago Jewish philanthropic communities, expanding Repair’s base of supporters.
• Actively solicit gifts through one-on-one meetings, proposals, and strategic engagement opportunities, and build a robust prospect pipeline.
• Represent Repair the World in meetings, events, and convenings with donors, foundations, and community partners across both cities.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for donors in both markets, providing thoughtful stewardship, impact updates, and meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with local program staff to design and execute donor experiences that connect supporters to Repair’s initiatives on the ground.
• Partner closely with the national development team to align on strategy, coordinate donor engagement, and contribute to national campaigns and initiatives.
