About the role

  • Learn Closet America custom product lines and how to present, design, and sell them with confidence
  • Translate client needs into functional, stylish closet solutions
  • Use creativity and spatial awareness to design personalized closet systems
  • Promote and present services to prospective clients and develop leads
  • Develop, present, and negotiate sales contracts
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience from first consultation to project close
  • Serve Charlotte, NC territory with local travel to client homes (in-home appointments within approximately 65-mile radius)
  • Participate in paid training and ongoing team trainings, mentorship, and coaching

Requirements

  • Positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping people
  • Previous sales experience preferred—bonus points for design or home improvement background
  • Basic computer skills for presentations and workflow management
  • Reliable transportation for in-home appointments (within a 65-mile radius; mileage not reimbursed)
  • Are you 18 years or Older (must be 18+)
  • Are you available to work weekends (availability to work weekends required)
  • Willingness to submit to a post-offer, pre-employment background check
  • Ability to commit to two-week paid training at Corporate Office in Landover, MD (hotel provided)
  • Ability to start training on September 2, 2025
