About the role
- Help clients bring their dream storage spaces to life with custom-designed closet solutions
- Learn and present custom product lines; present, design, and sell Closet America products
- Translate client needs into functional, stylish designs using creativity and spatial awareness
- Promote and present services to prospective clients and conduct in-home consultations
- Develop, present, and negotiate sales contracts and close sales
- Deliver a best-in-class customer experience from first consultation through project close
- Local travel to client homes within the Charlotte, NC territory and manage projects through installation
Requirements
- Positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping people
- Previous sales experience preferred; bonus points for design or home improvement background
- Basic computer skills for presentations and workflow management
- Reliable transportation for in-home appointments (within a 65-mile radius; mileage not reimbursed)
- Ability to learn custom product lines and present, design, and sell them with confidence
- Ability to translate client needs into functional, stylish solutions and design personalized closet systems
- Ability to develop, present, and negotiate sales contracts
- Deliver a best-in-class customer experience from first consultation to project close
- Must be 18 years or older
- Availability to work weekends
- Willingness to submit to a post-offer, pre-employment background check
- Ability to commit to two-week paid training in Landover, MD (hotel accommodation provided)
