Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly Product and Engineering, to guide, influence, and support product strategy with data insights.
Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to address diverse and challenging business problems using various analytical and statistical techniques.
Explore and evaluate opportunities for product improvement.
Develop and track success metrics for product initiatives.
Provide actionable insights about our users, such as how they work, how they discover features, and which obstacles they might run into on the platform.
Contribute toward initiatives to enhance the reliability and accuracy of our data infrastructure and processes.
Partner on projects like defining metrics for features and platform reliability, conducting quantitative user research for pricing, developing abuse-detection algorithms, and building standardized product usage datasets.
Requirements
6+ Years of experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
3+ Years of experience leading data-driven projects from definition to execution, including metric definition, experiment design, aggregation of results from disparate data sources, and communication of actionable insights to stakeholders.
A track record of high ownership and taking initiative.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration, including effective communication with team members of varying skill sets and levels of experience.
Proficiency in SQL with some experience in Python.
Familiarity with the core components of our data stack: multiple sources of data (e.g., Segment, HubSpot, back-end data in Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL).
Experience with ETL to BigQuery with Stitch.
Experience with dbt for data transformation.
Experience with analysis and reporting using Metabase.
